MARE FORMS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH FTJ TO OFFER EMPLOYEE BENEFITS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Warrensburg--At its December 3rd, 2007, meeting, the Missouri Association of Rural Education ("MARE") Board of Directors unanimously chose to endorse Forrest T. Jones and Company, Inc. )"FTJ") as a provider of 403(b) Administration and Compliance Services and as a provider of Voluntary Insurance Benefits and IRS Section 125 Cafeteria Plan Compliance and Administrative Services for MARE member school districts.
"FTJ has a 50+ year track record of commitment to Missouri school districts," said MARE Executive Director Ray Patrick. "FTJ's services and products have proven to be effective and reliable for MARE school districts in the past with well over 180 districts currently working with FTJ for 403 (b), Cafeteria and Group Benefit Programs.
With the recent sweeping Federal regulatory changes governing 403(b) Plans and the growing importance of Section 125 Plans and Voluntary Benefits, the MARE Board believes our member districts should seriously consider consolidation and streamlining their Benefits Programs by working with the TEAM of professionals at FTJ. You can count on FTJ, year in and year out to work on the behalf of school districts, employees and retirees."
"When it comes to good programs, reliability and service, it doesn't matter to FTJ whether it's small or large school district, our commitment to quality remains the same," said Mark Iglehart, FTJ's Managing Director of Individual Products. "It's an honor to receive this endorsement and we look forward to working together with MARE and its member districts for many years to come:
MARE also recommends to its member Districts that they work with FTJ to consider replacing their financially burdensome and potentially litigious sick-leave pool with an employer paid and/or voluntary disability insurance program. As a full-service broker, FTJ has multiple carriers and options to tailor plans for the specific needs of each district.
