Stephanie Borgman - 2018 Howard Heidbrink Scholarship Recipient
Launch the media gallery 1 playerStephanie Borgman is a graduate of Slater High School in Slater, Missouri. She is currently a student at Northwest Missouri State University, in Maryville, Missouri working on a major in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics and a minor in Psychology.
Stephanie shares that she considers herself blessed to have been a student in a rural school district. She plans to implement project-based learning and Conscious Discipline practices in her classroom to help her students succeed and grow to love learning as much as she does.
One of her college professors notes that Stephanie has all of the leadership qualities necessary to change lives, while living as a productive member in her beloved rural community.
