NaTosha D. Wolfe

2012 Howard Heidbrink Scholarship Recipient

NaTosha Wolfe currently lives in the Slater/ Marshall, Missouri area.  She is currently attending Missouri Valley College – Marshall, Missouri, majoring in Elementary Education.

NaTosha shares that she wants to teach in a school that exhibits the sort of nurturing and cooperation between parents and teachers in which she grew up.  In a small community, parents communicate well with the teachers. Small schools are a family.  “I think that the things we study should meet the Grade Level Expectations or Common Core Standards, but the material should also be important to the students.  I hope to able to integrate fun activities that make children love to learn.

One of NaTosha’s college instructors shares that she is one of the most creative and enthusiastic students I have experienced.  Her quality of work is exceptional and I have been most impressed with her work ethic and dependability.  Another shares that NaTosha has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children.  Her ability to connect with the students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are both superior.

One whose teaching skills are derived from a combination of natural and learned talents and the natural ability to relate to children makes it appropriate to congratulate NaTosha Wolfe as the 2012 Howard Heidbrink Scholarship recipient.
