Jeff Nolting has spent the last seventeen years serving the students, parents, patrons and staff as a School Board Member working to improve and support the Otterville R-IV School District.During his tenure on the board, Mr. Nolting has been recognized for his outstanding leadership abilities by his peers, by being elected to several of those years as the board president.
The words “a true advocate for kids and education as a whole,” best describes the dedication that Mr. Nolting has provided, by putting the children of the school first in the decisions he supports as a board member.During Jeff’s tenure on the board, he always wanted to insure that the Otterville students are not disadvantaged in their academic pursuits just because they attended a small school district.
Referred to as a man of principle, Jeff is described as one that is a very knowledgeable individual who has taken great pride in the progress and advancement of the Otterville School District. His knowledge of the policies and regulations has been of great benefit to the district. His dedication to the care and well-being of the staff and students of the district is to be commended.
One of his fellow board members shares that he has been able to witness first hand, Jeff’s understanding, of how the school district and the community of Otterville work in conjunction for the betterment of each other.Mr. Nolting understands the importance of the school in the community and has volunteered countless hours of commitment to both the school and community.Jeff’s dedication has taken him away from family-time, however, he realizes the return of his commitment, through the improvement of schools and the education of his own and all students in the Otterville school.
Jeff Nolting has always represented the community of Otterville, as a Board of Education member with integrity.His influence over the years is assuring that the board has been prudent in its governance of the school district making him deserving of the honor as the Missouri Outstanding Rural Board Member for 2014.
