Madeline Goehman - 2020 "William G. Peter Scholarship" Recipient

Madeline Goehman

Madeline is a graduate of Pilot Grove High School in Pilot Grove, Missouri.  She is currently a student at Central Methodist University in Fayette working on a major in Elementary Education.

Madeline shares that from a young age she loved school and learning new things.  She recounts that for every career day in elementary school she dressed up as a teacher.  She wants to teach in a rural community so that she can engage, interact and develop a strong connection between her school and her community.  She plans to get to know and understand all of her students and to maintain lifelong connections with them.

A college professor shares that "Madeline is a student that is hard working, reflective, takes initiative and is excited about learning.  She truly has a passion for working with children."  Another professor shares, "Madeline will be a positive addition to any organization and she will find success and thrive in a rural education setting."

It is our pleasure to present Madeline Goehman the 2020 William G. Peter Scholarship award!
