Brandi Nicole Caffey - 2015 William G Peter Scholarship recipient

Brandi Nicole Caffey of Conway, Missouri graduated from Laclede Co. R-I High School.  She is currently attending Missouri State University – West Plains, Missouri majoring in Elementary Education.

Many say rural schools are lacking when compared to larger districts, but Brandi disagrees.  Brandi shares she knew all the students in her graduating class, and built positive relationships with staff and with people in the community in which she lives.  She wants to be a part of a rural school because of community. Rural schools are family.  The relationships and personal investments in rural schools go beyond the bell.  I want to be part of this type of family.

A former instructor shares that Brandi stands out as a self-motivated student who understood what she had to do in order to be a top student.  She was a good team member who seemed to bring out the best in her group. She also possesses the positive personal skills that transform good students into great adult leaders. One that will take advantage of opportunities and who will have a long-lasting positive impact in a rural community.

Expecting the most out of herself, while believing in the people she works with, we offer congratulations to Brandi Caffey as the 2015 William G Peter Scholarship recipient.
