2015 American Fidelity Assurance Company Scholarship recipient
Casey Warren is a graduate of Lafayette Co. C-1 High School in Higginsville, Missouri. She is currently attending University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, majoring in Physical Education.
Casey shares that he has been in a rural Missouri community for her entire life. In a rural community, teachers are not only teachers to their students. They also act as role models and students learn to trust them. Over the last couple of years, Casey has had the opportunity to substitute teach and coach in a neighboring rural community. A rural community has the benefit of a strong fan base for its school district activities. The trust that can be built between teachers and students is nothing like that in an urban or suburban community.
A college instructor shares that Casey has shown a tremendous ability for leadership at such a young age. Her insightfulness and knowledge of situations has helped her become a leader in her field at an early age. Casey is one of those students who you may trust to accomplish any task placed before her and too accomplish it at a very high level. It is exceptionally uncommon that an undergraduate student demonstrates such sophisticated leadership qualities.
With the enthusiasm and energy for working with others to teach in a rural school district, we extend congratulations to Casey Warren as the 2015 American Fidelity Assurance Company Scholarship recipient.
