Join Us for the 2021 MARE/MO K-8 Conference on October 20-22, 2021
The 2021 MARE/MO K-8 Conference will be held on Wednesday, October 20th through Friday, October 22nd at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri. The Conference Committee has put together a great program of General Sessions, Small Group Sessions, Receptions, Meals, Refreshments, General Membership Meetings and opportunities to grow professionally and socialize in a relaxed environment with colleagues who support rural education from all over our great state. We will also be offering Board Training as part of this event for both new members (18.5 hours) and the mandatory 1 hour refresher training required annually for members serving in their second or subsequent year on the Board. Scheduled General Sessions include presentations from Dr. Margie Vandeven, Dr. Kari Monsees, Dr. Chris Neale, Dr. Allen Pratt (NREA Executive Director), Scott Kimble (SAC), EdCounsel, LLC, Mickes O'Toole, LLC and a Legal Panel addressing "Hot Topics in Education." In addition to the featured General Sessions, we have twenty-five (25) Small Group Sessions planned. A copy of the "Conference Planner at a Glance" document which details all of the various sessions will be added to this article by the end of the week once final sessions are confirmed!
Linked below are various documents associated with the conference including registration forms for attendees and exhibitors and the nomination form for our Outstanding Rural Education Awards which will be presented at the luncheon on Thursday, October 21st.
We are planning for this to be our biggest and best conference to date! We hope that you will make plans to join us and help make that happen. If you have questions regarding anything conference related, please don't hesitate to contact me.
