Elementary (K-8) Principal Vacancy Cole County R-1 School District,

The Cole County R-1 School District, Russellville is accepting applicants for the position of Elementary (K-8) Principal. The district is seeking an individual with effective leadership skills that can lead a highly successful elementary school with a track record of high achievement. The principal duties will include great communication skills, evaluations and supervision of teachers, (NEE), coordinating activities and maintaining a learning environment that is conducive to learning, supervision, Title 1 federal programs coordinator, and monitoring the day to day school operations by acting with integrity while consistently enforcing school policy and procedures.

 

The candidate must have a master’s degree with an elementary administrator certificate and hold or able to obtain a valid Missouri certificate. Familiarity with the Professional Learning Community model and demonstrated experience with successful leadership is preferred. The Cole County R-1 School District is a Professional Learning Community and operates in a highly collaborative atmosphere focused on highly effective teaching practices with high expectations for staff and students.
