Taylor Grisham Awarded 2017 Mickes O'Toole, LLC Scholarship

Jason Price presenting to Taylor Grisham

Taylor Grisham is a graduate of Dadeville Sr. High School in Dadeville, Missouri.  She is currently a student at Missouri State University, in Springfield, Missouri working on a major in Art Education.

Taylor shares that she was fortunate to grow up with many family members who taught in rural schools across the state of Missouri.  This has inspired her to become a teacher in a rural community where she can encourage her students to be the best that they can be, both in and outside of school.  Her goals are to engage and motivate her students, to connect her art program with the community and to provide all of her students with meaningful learning experiences.

One of her professors shares that he has been impressed with Taylor’s commitment to excellence, pursuit of knowledge and dedication to the teaching profession.  He expressed confidence that Taylor will be an outstanding educator just as she is an outstanding student at Missouri State.  Another instructor notes that Taylor is intelligent, curious, articulate, disciplined, enthusiastic, hard-working and visually sophisticated.  A high school teacher shares that Taylor will be a phenomenal educator for a Missouri school district.

We are pleased to present Ms. Taylor Grisham with the 2017 Mickes O’Toole, LLC Scholarship award!
