Princeton is seeking candidates for the position of Superintendent, of the school district.

THE COMMUNITY

Princeton is a city in Mercer County, Missouri.  As of 2009, Princeton population is 2,622 people. It is the county seat of Mercer County. The median home cost in Princeton is $61,670. Compared to the rest of the country, Princeton cost of living is 26.79% Lower than the U.S. average. The district is primarily a rural agriculture community with the majority of the patrons working is some agriculture related field. 

THE SCHOOL

Princeton R-V is a PreK-12 public school spending $9,081.00 per student. The average school expenditure in the U.S. is $6,058. There are about 13 students per teacher in Princeton.  Princeton has two enrollment centers the high school, grades 7-12 and the elementary, grades pre-K-6.  Free and reduced lunch count was at 38.50% for the 2009 school year.

LOCATION

Princeton is located 13 miles south of the Iowa line, in the northern part of the state. Trenton, Mo., is 30 minutes away. The district abounds with hunting and fishing recreation areas. The School District is located at 1008 E. Coleman, Princeton, Missouri.

SALARY/BENEFITS INFORMATION
  • Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary range of $85,000-90,000.
  • Administrative experience a plus. Missouri Superintendent’s Certificate required.
  • Living in district is a plus, but not required.
  • Paid health insurance benefits per limits of health insurance policy in effect.
  • Additional benefits will include a Life Insurance per limits of Policy.
  • A two year contract will be offered.
  • Two weeks paid vacation
