 The Altenburg District #48 is seeking candidates for the position of Principal/Chief Educational Officer of the School.

 District Information

Altenburg is a small K-8 school district located on the eastern end of Perry County, Missouri.  It is 25 miles south of Perryville and 25 miles north of Cape Girardeau.  The district's eastern boundary is the Mississippi River.  The district is made up of the towns of Altenburg and Frohna.  The school population is 98 K-8 and 32 high school students attending neighboring school districts.  The district also operates a preschool that serves 37 families and has an average daily enrollment of 28 children.  The district has been a Distinction in Performance school for the past seven years.
