Norma Lea Mihalevich
Travel around the state of Missouri and hear reference to the Crocker School District, the first thought that may come to mind is Norma Lea Mihalevich. Mrs. Mihalevich's name has been synonymous with Crocker for many years. Education first is truly Norma Lea's commitment. She was first elected to the Board of Education in April, 1955 and has remained a positive force on the Board in all of the forty-six years since then. For nineteen plus consecutive years she served as board president. The community has shown its respect for her leadership by re-electing her to the Board from that time. on. She is described as an individual that is always knowledgeable of the big picture issues as well as the small student issues.
