Michael Willhite - 2020 "Tueth Keeney Cooper Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C Scholarship" Recipient

Michael Willhite

Michael is a graduate of St. Joseph Christian School in St. Joseph, Missouri.  He is currently a student at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar working on a major in Mathematics Education.

Michael notes, "Since I have been involved in a rural community my whole life, I have interest in wanting to give back as a teacher in a rural setting.  I desire to build lifetime relationships, foster a sense of family and support my students as they grow and develop during their high school careers.  I want to impact the next generation and give them the best chance to succeed.    I firmly believe that a rural school district is a great place to do so."

A college professor shares, "Michael has strong mathematical content knowledge and good communication skills.  Beyond that, he is a person of high character, dependable and trustworthy.  He will relate well to high school students and will be, not only, a great mathematics teacher, but also a strong positive influence on his students' lives.

We are pleased to present Michael Willhite the 2020 Tueth Keeney Cooper Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C. Scholarship award!
