Teresa Boll

2010 MARE Scholarship recipient

Teresa Boll of Crane, Missouri, is currently attending Missouri Southern State University, Joplin, Missouri, majoring in Middle School Math and Social Studies.

Teresa shares that for most of her life and all of her education and her children’s education has been in rural Missouri.  I feel comfortable in the rural setting and plan to teach there.  Moving to Stone County, where Teresa’s husband became a pastor of the First Baptist Church of Crane, Missouri, She began substituting, later becoming a teachers aide working with children with special needs, Teresa decided to become a teacher.  I love rural Missouri and hope that I can help rural schools stay healthy and provide a quality education to children of rural families.

One of her administrators shares that Mrs. Boll’s ability to relate to students and staff ensured success for both when integrating students into classrooms.  Any problems, which may have arisen, were quickly and efficiently solved working cooperatively with both the special education and regular education teacher.

One of her college instructors shares that Teresa represents the very highest standards of excellence in leadership, scholarship and service.  Another instructor shares that Teresa has wit and wisdom, passion and compassion, character and integrity, all fine traits for a teacher to possess.

Congratulations to Teresa Boll, the 2010 MARE Scholarship recipient.
