Gasconade County R-II - Vacancies for 2020-2021

Process Coordinator/Psychological Examiner Vacancy

The Gasconade Co. R-II School District is accepting applications for a Process Coordinator/Psychological Examiner for the 2020-2021 school year.  Gasconade Co. R-II School District is located in Owensville, Missouri in South Central Missouri.  The K-12 district has an elementary enrollment of 850, middle school enrollment of 445 and a high school enrollment of 560.  The district has 150 certified staff and 11 administrators.

Specific Job Information - Master's degree, Specialist Degree or higher degree in the field of Education, Counseling or Psychology is required.  A valid Missouri Psychological Examiner Certificate or School Psychologist Certification is desired.  Teaching experience in the area of Special Education is preferred.  Essential functions include walking, standing, lifting, carrying at least 25 pounds, bending, thinking, concentrating, learning, reading and communicating both verbally and in writing.  The Director of Special Services supervises this position.  The person employed in this position will be employed on a ten month contract which begins two weeks prior to the typical nine month contracts and ends two weeks later than regular teaching contracts.  This position assists in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluations of the programs overseen by the Special Services Department.  The employed individual is responsible for accurate evaluations of individual students and maintenance of the State and Federal requirements regarding process and timelines.

Middle School Assistant Principal

he Gasconade Co. R-II School District is accepting applications for a Middle School Assistant Principal for the 2020-2021 school year.  Gasconade Co. R-II School District is located in Owensville, Missouri in South Central Missouri.  The K-12 district has an elementary enrollment of 850, middle school enrollment of 445 and a high school enrollment of 560.  The district has 150 certified staff and 11 administrators.

Specific Job Information - The applicant must possess Missouri Teaching and Administrative Certification, a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and a minimum of four years of middle school experience.  The primary roles of the position include:  1) To assist the principal in the overall administration of the middle school, 2) Serve as the principal when the lead administrator is absent, 3) Be able to evaluate staff, 4) Be an active member in the educational collaboration experience and 5) be able to perform other duties as determined by the Principal and/or Superintendent.  Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and education.
