Endorsement Criteria
MARE is committed to the idea that it is a Service Organization, dedicated to the policy of providing services to our member schools.
The MARE Board of Directors will from time to time consider requests made by Associate Members for a full-endorsement of their products or services. These members must be important to the MARE organization in their long-term interest in the welfare of the rural school districts in Missouri.
The Endorsement committee shall consider the following information before submission to the Executive board for final approval.

How will this company/organizations product or service help rural education in Missouri?

A historical background of this company/organization including it fiscal health.

A historical product delivery and customer satisfaction. Any filings of complaints with the better business bureaus?

Is the product or affiliation trouble-free and will MARE be enhanced by association with this company/organization?

Is this company/organization willing to participate in the MARE convention, advertise in the quarterly newsletter, support scholarship efforts, host certain levels of our associations activities, provide Executive Board updates? (Not all items must be considered to receive an endorsement.)

This company/organization present endorsement relationships with other state educational organizations/associations? (MASA, MSBA, MSTA, MNEA, etc)

This company/organization willingness to stand annually for review of the endorsement continuance?

This company/organization will support MARE through financial contributions? or Fee cost reduction to member school districts? Or other?
The MARE Executive Board shall conduct an annual review of all approved endorsements to determine whether the previously approved endorsement of the company/organization will continue.
The MARE Executive Board will reserve the right to meet in special session to consider the withdrawal of an endorsement of any company/organization that fails to meet the performance outlines when the endorsement was approved.
