OUALIFICATIONS
1. Missouri Elementary Principal's Certification from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
2. A Master's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university, with strong major in elementary education and administration.
3. A minimum of three years of experience as a classroom teacher.
4. Preference given for prior administrative experience, NEE training, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration.
The Elementary Principal is the instructional leader of the elementary school. As an administrative officer, a major portion of time will be devoted to improving instruction to provide each student with the important knowledge and skills needed to be a productive human being. Building leadership will also include other aspects of the elementary school, to include educational program development, school, community relations, personnel development, business and building management.
