The Lincoln County R-III School District, located in Troy, Missouri, is accepting applications for an Assistant Superintendent of Academics. Details of the vacancy are as follows:
Assistant Superintendent - Academics - The salary range will range from $114,000 to $124,000 based on experience. The starting date for the contract will be July 1, 2018. The primary function of the position is to assist the Superintendent in the area of curriculum development, implementation and assessment through the following actions: 1) Providing leadership and supervision of principals, curriculum and instructional personnel; 2) Providing leadership in the ongoing development and improvement of the instructional program of the district through the use of data analysis; 3) Determining and addressing the needs of the district in the areas of curriculum, instructions and professional staff development. The contract will be for 240 days. Qualifications include a Master's degree from an accredited college or university, a minimum of five years of classroom teaching and three to five years of experience in public education administration.
