Board Training Opportunities

The Missouri Association of Rural Education (MARE) provides the sixteen hours of Board Training required by the state for all school Board members.  Our most recent Board Training was held in conjunction with the MARE/MO K-8 Conference October 20th through October 22nd at The Lodge of the Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri.  The Board Training program is usually scheduled on a Friday (8:15 a.m. till 4:15 p.m.) and Saturday (8:15 a.m. till 4:15 p.m.) at various locations across the state based on identified need.  Dr. Maggie Anderson and Dr. Leroy Huff provide the training for the organization.  We are in the process of seeking information from Missouri school districts across the state in order to schedule our next round of training opportunities.  If your district has a Board member(s) that is is need of training, please contact our office by phone (660-747-8050), fax (660-747-8160) or email (rpatrick@moare.com or ksandlin@moare.com) to provide us with the necessary information.  We are planning to offer training in the near future at locations based on identified need.
