Aurora R-VII Announces Superintendent Vacancy

The Aurora R-VIII School District is currently seeking candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools for the 2015-16 school year. Applicants must demonstrate a student-centered philosophy regarding instruction, education, and leadership; have knowledge of sound fiscal management; share a vision of technology integration; and understand the important role of parents/patrons. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position. Applicants must hold appropriate certification (current Superintendent's certificate) and have at least 3 years of administrative experience. Salary range is set at 95,000-120,000 with final determination to be made based on skills and experience. Benefits include board-paid health insurance stipend, and paid personal/vacation/sick leave.
