MARE announces a new service is now available to the Missouri School Districts.  Dr. Robert V. Hoffman will now be available for consultations and/or presentations with your district's board of education and administrations.

Dr. Hoffman, has an excellent background, making him very knowledgeable about what it takes for a school district to operate smoothly and soundly.  He re-enforces what every one's job description is and the role they play in making sure their district does run smoothly and soundly.

Areas of Consultation (Only one to two areas per session)

  • Governance
  • School Law
  • Assessment/Strategic Planning
  • Understanding the Role of a Board Member

Dr. Hoffman's background is:

  • He has been involved in Missouri education for the past 43 years.
  • He was a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent.
  • Following his retirement from public education he served a term on the Holden R-III Board of Education.
  • Taught school law, school finance at the University of Central Missouri.
  • Has been a consultant on distance learning.
  • An advisor to school districts on comprehensive planning.
  • For the past ten years, he has been serving Missouri Association of Rural Education as its coordinator of school board training and as an advisor to boards of education who desire updated information and refreshment.
