Mary Lou Jerome
is currently secretary to the Superintendent as well as the Board Secretary for the Chilhowee R-IV School District. "Loyal," "tactful," "thoughtful," "dependable," "professional," and "happy to serve the school district and community," are words that staff and students use to describe Mrs. Jerome. A classroom instructor comments, "It is amazing the way Mrs. Jerome keeps track of us all and expresses concern for us." The board of education noted, "The variety of tasks you undertake each day is overwhelming and yet you get it done and still greet each new request with a smile."
